Whisky Crafting Night

On Friday night, we were delighted to welcome supporters into the Jim McMillan Lounge for a unique night of whisky tasting and testing.

Led by Gleann Mòr Spirits’ Head of Operations Greg Urquhart, attendees sampled three different Whisky Row drams, our special edition Shipwrecked Dram, the original Final Blend and the 25th anniversary Final Blend.

Following the tasting, participants then worked in teams to taste, mix and craft a 30th anniversary version.

After putting together a variation of options, the guests then came together to submit a final recipe idea, which will be taken to Gleann Mor Spirits to create and bottle.

This whisky was created in celebration of 30 years since Rovers won the Coca-Cola Cup, and this new edition will be bottled on November 27th, exactly 30 years on from the kick-off of that famous match.

This intimate and special event gave supporters the opportunity to play a true part in the whisky creation, and those involved will become one of very few people who have tasted all three of our Final Blend editions.
