Patriots Can Breathe Sigh Of Relief Following Scary-Looking Injury

Rhamondre Stevenson looked more like himself despite a 15-10 loss for the New England Patriots at the hands of the Miami Dolphins.

The fourth-year running back held onto the ball on Sunday as part of an 89-yard performance with a touchdown. The Patriots did have a moment of worry when Stevenson took a shot to his lower leg and briefly left the game before returning.

"I just felt a helmet right into my leg," Stevenson told reporters, per team-provided video. "Right into my calf is really what it was. I just had to make sure I was good. I was. I felt good to get back out there."

The Patriots running back added that he does not expect to miss further time with the leg injury. Stevenson had his season come to a close last season when he suffered a high ankle

"No, I think I'm good," Stevenson confirmed.

The Patriots look to bounce back after four straight losses when they host the Houston Texans in Week 6.
