Moore did not disappoint

There has been plenty of hype around Moore at Tottenham since last year, with Spurs fans waiting with bated breath to see what the teenager could produce.

They finally got their first proper glimpse of the 17-year-old in a competitive fixture on Thursday as Ange Postecoglou handed him his full debut against Ferencvaros.

The winger certainly did not disappoint, showcasing his ability to ride challenges and carry the ball, with the Ferencvaros struggling to stop him.

Moore makes a confident claim

The Tottenham academy graduate certainly did not look fazed by the occasion, constantly demanding the ball and being brave with his attacking play.

Moore completed all 90 minutes and he stated after helping Spurs to a 2-1 win that he believes he is ready to play at the highest level.

The youngster told TNT Sports after the full-time whistle: “Yeah, it’s a big step, but it’s one I’m ready to take. All of the boys have helped me and it has been perfect so far.”

Door open for Moore

Tottenham have several injuries in their forward line, with Richarlison and Wilson Odobert currently sidelined while there are also doubts about the fitness of Heung-min Son.

So the door could be open for Moore to potentially get a run in the side over the coming weeks and showcase his quality.

The teenager might well have moved ahead of Timo Werner in the pecking order on the back of his showing in Turkey.
