Queen’s Park’s Callum Davidson picks up Scottish Championship Glen’s Manager of the Month Award

Queen’s Park's super September has been recognised with Callum Davidson being awarded The Scottish Championship Glen’s Manager of the Month Award.

It is Callum’s first award during his stint at The Spiders and comes after wins over Morton and Dunfermline, a draw with Championship leaders Ayr and progression in the SPFL Trust Trophy with a win over Edinburgh City.

Callum said: “It is always nice to be recognised with these awards as you must be doing something right in order to be chosen. For me the award may be in my name, but it recognises the good job everyone at the club did last month.

“September started with a good display in The SPFL Trust Trophy and then a nice piece of history as Queen’s Park enjoyed their first league success over Morton in over 60 years.

“The draw with Ayr was a bit frustrating as it is a game that we could have won however to move on from that disappointment and win at Dunfermline was terrific.

“The Championship is a hugely competitive league, and we worked hard during the summer on and off the park to be ready for it. We are still very much a work in progress, and everyone knows that we need to keep on working as hard as we have been to have a successful season.”
