Seagulls gear up for top of table clash

0 0

IT’S a huge game for the Seagulls on Friday night when unbeaten league leaders Airbus UK Broughton come to the 4 Crosses Arena (Sept 27th, 7:45pm kick-off).

Mark Allen’s team boast a 100 per cent league record, having won all eight games so far, to open a six point gap at the top of the JD Cymru North table. Colwyn Bay are unbeaten in their last seven league games, so this is promises to be a highly competitive game between two sides with promotion aspirations.

Bay boss Mike Wilde is waiting on fitness checks on a few players coming back from injury, and the Seagulls will need to be on top of their game if they are to be the first team to take points off the league leaders in this top of the table blockbuster.

Airbus have already scored 27 goals in their eight league outings, but the Bay will have been boosted by scoring eight times in their last two games, with three goals for new top scorer Craig Lindfield.

The Under-19s, currently second in the FAW Reserve League North West, are scheduled to play at home to Llanuwchllyn Reserves on Saturday (2pm kick off).
