It was a difficult weekend for Liverpool as we watched our side lose but in Giorgi Mamardashvili, at least one of our players had a moment to reflect back on positively.

During a match with Atletico Madrid, our stopper managed to deny Alexander Sorloth from pointblank range.

Although the match ended in a 3-0 loss for the Georgian’s side, it showcased what we have to look forward to at Anfield in the coming years.
