What would have happened if … Mowbray was fit enough to return to work in August?
What differences would we have seen? I think we all agree we would have stopped up if he hadn’t been ill but let’s say he was fit enough to work in August following the relegation. How do you think things would have been different?
Personally I don’t think we bring in the quality of player or the same players. I think we persuade Pritchard and Dozzell to stay/sign and potentially don’t sign Leonard and Thor for example. I think we have completed better business than if he had still been in charge.
However I do think we would be a far more potent attacking side at this stage. I’ve got every faith that Davies will get there are some stage but as well as we can keep the ball at our best, I don’t see us as a potent attacking force just a side over reliant on Laird (as frustrating as he can be) and who can knacker teams out and win games that way.
