Arsenal star issues five-word warning to Tottenham ahead of the NLD

Bukayo Saka has issued a warning to Tottenham Hotspur, insisting that he and his Arsenal teammates will be ready for the North London Derby.

There is the small matter of a derby to look forward to for Spurs and Arsenal immediately after the international break.

Both sides will look to make a statement with a win on September 15 as the campaign heats up.

Although Arsenal do not boast a very good record when travelling to their local rivals over the last decade and a half, they have won their last two trips to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

That is something that Ange Postecoglou’s men will look to put right as they themselves have grander ambitions for the campaign.

The Gunners will be without Declan Rice for the clash after he was sent off against Brighton, which will undoubtedly be a major blow, given the England international’s importance to their side.

However, Saka is defiant that Arsenal can get the job done without Rice, sending a clear statement of intent ahead of the clash.

When asked about the big game, the Gunners star simply responded to TNT Sports: “We’ll be ready for them.”

The expectations are all on Arsenal, who are expected to compete for the Premier League title yet again and the Tottenham players will relish the chance to show that they can go toe-to-toe with anyone.
