THE LOWDOWN

We’re back on the road again as we travel to Ayrshire to take on Kilmarnock; kick-off at 3pm on Sunday 1 September.

We picked up our first point of the season after drawing 2-2 with Dundee last time out.

Martin Boyle and Kieron Bowie were both on target last time out, but Simon Murray’s late strike meant the points were shared at Easter Road.

David Gray’s side will look to secure their first league win of the season against a Kilmarnock side who have had a challenging start to the domestic campaign.

THE HOSTS

Killie currently sit bottom of the table, having lost their opening three league matchesbut have been performing well on the European stage.

Derek McInnes’ men have reached the Play-Off Round of the UEFA Conference League after beating Norwegian side Tromsø over two legs.

Kilmarnock are in European action again on Thursday evening (29 August), where they host Copenhagen – hoping to overturn a 2-0 deficit from the first leg in Denmark.

We picked up five points against Kilmarnock last season, with our last two visits to Rugby Park ending in 2-2 draws.

TEAM NEWS

Kieron Bowie bagged his first goal for the Club at the weekend against Dundee. Since his arrival, Bowie has made three appearances off the bench as he continues to work his way up to full match fitness.

Junior Hoilett and Elie Youan have both been absent since the start of the league season and will be assessed ahead of Sunday’s fixture.

Away tickets for the match are still available to purchase. Supporters can purchase tickets online from the Hibernian FC Ticket Office up until 3pm on Thursday 29 Augsut.
