Everton Lurking As Chelsea Star’s Switch ‘In Danger Of Collapsing’

0 3

Everton are likely to be on high alert as a Chelsea star they are keen on has seen his switch elsewhere ‘in danger of collapsing’ due to paperwork issues, according to the Guardian.

Sean Dyche is keen to boost his attacking options before the deadline, especially as question marks remain over Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s future.

Chelsea and Ipswich have a loan deal in place for Armando Broja to move to Portman Road before Friday’s deadline and the Albanian is a target for Everton.

The two clubs have been working on finalising the terms and paperwork of the deal over the last 24 hours as Ipswich push to finalise his arrival.

However, the proposed deal is now on the verge of collapsing due to issues with the paperwork of the agreement.

Ipswich are threatening to walk away from the deal to sign the Chelsea striker on loan this season.

The negotiations have not been called off yet but the newly promoted Premier League side are considering alternative targets.

That could boost Everton’s chances of landing the striker as they are also interested in Broja.

Chelsea are desperate to move on the striker on before the transfer window closes on Friday night.

Whether Everton would be able to agree a deal with Chelsea for Broja if he is again available remains to be seen.
