Liverpool Agree Permanent Exit For Young Defender

Liverpool are set to sell one of their defenders in a permanent deal as he is poised to join Scottish Premiership side Dundee, according to the Athletic.

 

Arne Slot has been running the rule over his squad over the course of pre-season so far and he has made a decision on Billy Koumetio.

 

The defender was not part of Liverpool’s squad for their pre-season trip to the United States amid interest in his services.

 

 

Now Dundee have managed to reach an agreement with Liverpool for Koumetio.

 

The 21-year-old defender will end his association with Liverpool and join the Scottish Premiership side on a permanent deal.

 

 

Koumetio has had a host of loan spells away from Anfield, spending time at Austria Vienna, Dunkirk and Blackburn Rovers.

 

He will be joining a Dundee side that finished sixth in the Scottish Premiership last term.

 

 

Koumetio will be looking to play regular football at Dens Park and kick on with his career north of the border.
