Bristol City Make No Progress In Pursuit Of Target

0 0

Bristol City are yet to make any progress in their bid to land Scott Twine from Burnley, according to Sky Sports News.

The Burnley playmaker has emerged as manager Liam Manning’s main transfer target after an impressive stint with the Robins in the second half of the season.

Twine finished with two goals in ten matches and has now been linked with a move back to the club.

Bristol City have been working to agree a move with Burnley so that they can use him from the very beginning of the Championship season against Hull City.

However, with less than two days remaining before he can be registered to play against the Tigers, no new movement has happened.

Burnley boss Scott Parker continues to run the rule over his squad and he could yet decide he wants to keep Twine.

The 25-year-old has been on Burnley’s books since the summer of 2022.

How long Bristol City might wait to do a deal for Twine remains to be seen, with the Robins surely looking at potential alternatives.
