Manchester United Target Is Treating Red Devils As Plan B Option

Manchester United are still Youssouf Fofana’s Plan B but the club have pitched an ambitious project to the French midfielder this summer.

 

The Premier League giants have held initial talks with Monaco over a potential deal to take Fofana to Old Trafford this summer.

 

Manchester United have also been in contact with his representatives to discuss a transfer but no official offer has been made.

 

 

It has been claimed that the Red Devils have pitched an ambitious project to the Frenchman as part of their exploratory process.

 

However, according to Italian sports daily Gazzetta dello Sport, Fofana is still treating Manchester United as his Plan B for this summer.

 

 

The midfielder is giving priority to a potential move to AC Milan with whom he has a contractual agreement.

 

The Rossoneri have been working on a deal to sign him but are yet to get close to meeting Monaco’s €35m asking price.

 

 

However, a move to Manchester United still appeals to him and he would not say no to the Red Devils if AC Milan continued to drag their feet over agreeing on a deal with Monaco.

 

West Ham have also shown interest in Fofana, but were told AC Milan are the side he wants to join.
