Tottenham are interested in Pedro Neto

There continues to be plenty of speculation linking Neto with a move to Spurs as the Lilywhites look to add more firepower to their frontline ahead of the new season.

Last week, Football Transfers claimed that Tottenham had stepped up their pursuit of the 24-year-old as Ange Postecoglou sees the winger as an important piece of the jigsaw.

The report asserted that the North London club had not only held talks with Wolves but had also spoken to the Portuguese star’s entourage over personal terms.

However, the Neto offered Spurs a blow a couple of days ago by revealing that he is happy at the Molineux Stadium (Nathan Judah).

Spurs are still interested in Pedro Neto

According to Romano, Spurs have not yet given up hopes of attracting the former Braga man to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium before the transfer window shuts.

The journalist told GiveMeSport: “Pedro Neto remains a player really appreciated and very highly rated by Tottenham.

“So, for sure, he is one of the players they’ve always had on the list. Let’s see if they will decide to accelerate, but I expect Tottenham to be busy starting from next week.”

Out of Solanke, Neto and Eze, who are the three players who are being most heavily linked with a move to Spurs at the moment, a deal for the Wolves star seems like it would be the easiest to pull off.

However, Tottenham will also be tracking other alternatives as they would not want to pay over the odds for the 24-year-old, given his fitness record.
