How Rob Gronkowski Believes Tom Brady Will Do As NFL Commentator

Patriots legend Tom Brady will officially begin his broadcast career for FOX Sports when he puts on the headset for the Dallas Cowboys-Cleveland Browns contest in Week 1 of the NFL season.

Brady's former teammate Rob Gronkowski began providing pre- and post-game analysis studio coverage on FOX in 2019. While Gronkowski has more experience on the mic than Brady does, the four-time Super Bowl champion doesn't expect the former quarterback to struggle in his debut when he joined the NFL's "Good Morning Football" recently.

"I think Tom Brady is going to absolutely dominate in the booth," Gronkowski said. "He'll definitely have his ups and downs. Of course, anyone entering a new gig in life, you're going to have to have some lessons that you're going to have to learn, but overall, I think he's going to be very successful."

Gronkowski said the key to Brady's success would be for the seven-time Super Bowl champion to simply rely on his knowledge of the game.

"Don't overthink it and just be yourself," Gronkowski said. "Go out there and share that gift he was born with. That gift is the knowledge of football that he has, and he has the most knowledge for the game of football than any ex, any former player out there. So, just go out and share that knowledge with the world, and he will absolutely dominate.

"I would never put anything past him, and he has all this time to prepare. When he has time to prepare, he will always be on his A-game. So, Tom Brady's going to dominate, and I can't wait for it."
