Fulham Try Again For Man Utd Star, Offer Still Short

Fulham have made a third bid for Scott McTominay, but is still short of Manchester United’s valuation of the Scotland midfielder, according to the Manchester Evening News.

 

Marco Silva is a fan of the Manchester United star and wants to add him to his Fulham squad this summer.

 

He is one of the top targets for the Cottagers and discussions have been ongoing between the two clubs over a potential transfer.

 

 

Manchester United rejected two offers from Fulham previously this summer and Fulham have now put in a third bid.

 

It has been claimed that the Cottagers have tabled a bid worth £23m for the Scotland international this summer.

 

 

However, the third offer is still short of the £25m to £30m Manchester United are hoping to fetch for their academy graduate.

 

It remains to be seen whether the new bid from Fulham could spark discussions over a final deal between the two clubs.

 

 

Erik ten Hag does not want to sell a player who scored ten goals last season but the club are open to offers for him.

 

Selling McTominay could open up the field for Manchester United to bring in a top defensive midfielder this summer.
