Tottenham half-time ratings vs Team K-League

Guglielmo Vicario: Called into action for the first time when he had to dive to see a shot go wide. 6.

Pedro Porro: Stung the hands of the keeper with a shot on goal early on, his effort minutes later went high over the bar, when he should be hitting the target. 6.

Emerson Royal: A start for the Brazilian dispute the heavy speculation of a move to AC Milan. Was on the receiving end of a smart turn from Spurs’ new signing Yang. 6.

Ben Davies: Slotted back into the central defensive role. Played a nice ball over the top early on to release Son behind the defence. 7.

Jamie Donley: Slotted back in at left full-back and has linked up well with Son on a number of occasions. A brilliant performance from the youngster who has got forward at every occasion. His work with Matt Wells is paying dividends. 8.

Lucas Bergvall: Always looking to get on the ball. Nearly got on the scoresheet but his left-footed effort came back off the underside of the crossbar. 7.

Pape Matar Sarr: Had half a chance to score on 11 minutes but scuffed his shot wide. A better half than he had against Vissel Kobe. 6.

Archie Gray: Had a couple of loose passes early on, but settled into the game. 6.

Brennan Johnson: His effort from Porro’s rebound was saved by the legs of the keeper. Another quiet half from the Welshman. 6.

Dejan Kulusevski: Has continued his impressive pre-season with the opening goal, and showed good feet to create the space for the shot. Involved again with Son’s second – his assists are becoming the norm. 8.

Heung-Min Son: Back in front of his adoring fans. Felt he should have had a penalty on 26 mins. Had his first clear chance when he saw his shot saved prior to Deki’s goal. Got himself on the scoresheet with a stunning individual curled effort and his second came with a lovely exchange with Kulusevski. Has played well down the left in tandem with Donley. 8.
