Cardiff City Currently Putting Target Through Medical

Former Ajax star Anwar El Ghazi is undergoing a medical ahead of his proposed move to Cardiff City this summer.

 

The former Ajax winger has been without a club since his contract at Mainz was terminated in November last year.

 

His agent has been trying to find a new club for the player over the past few months and he is set to return to British football this summer.

 

 

The Dutchman has agreed personal terms on a contract to join Cardiff City in the ongoing summer transfer window.

 

According to the German broadcaster Sky Deutschland, the winger is being put through a medical at Cardiff at the moment.

 

 

Once he gets through all the medical checks, he will sign a one-year contract with the Championship side.

 

El Ghazi will hope to rekindle his career with the Welsh outfit and impress in the Championship next season.

 

 

He has experience of playing in England and he had spells at Aston Villa and Everton previously.
