Rangers Work On Deal To Sign 30-year-old Connor Goldson Replacement

Rangers are working on a deal to sign FC Twente centre-back and club captain Robin Propper in the ongoing transfer window, according to the Rangers Review.

 

With Connor Goldson joining Cypriot side Aris Limassol, Rangers are set to bring his replacement into the building in the near future.

 

FC Twente captain Propper has been identified as the top target and the club are pushing to take him to Ibrox.

 

 

It has been claimed that a deal is being worked upon for Rangers to take the defender to Glasgow in the ongoing transfer window.

 

The 30-year-old defender was a rock at the heart of a Twente team that finished third in Eredivisie last season.

 

 

He still has three years left on his contract but Rangers are set to convince him to move to Scotland this summer.

 

Philippe Clement believes he has the required quality and experience to improve the Rangers defence next season.

 

 

Rangers are hopeful that Propper’s arrival could help them to properly challenge Celtic for the league title by tightening up their defence.
