Aston Villa Link With Winger Played Down

Aston Villa are not in talks to sign Hoffenheim winger Maximilian Beier, who is not currently a target for the club this summer, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

 

The 21-year-old winger has been heavily linked with a move away from Hoffenheim in the ongoing transfer window.

 

The Germany winger has suitors in the Premier League and more clubs have been joining the race to sign him.

 

 

Aston Villa have been linked with an interest in him and they are said to have tabled an offer to the player and his representatives.

 

However, it has been claimed that Aston Villa are not trying to sign the winger from Hoffenheim at present.

 

 

There are no negotiations taking place between Aston Villa and the player for a transfer this summer.

 

Beier is not a target for Villa now as Joao Felix is the man they are focused on.

 

 

Felix has continued to remain the main target for Unai Emery, who is pushing to take him to Villa Park.

 

Whether Aston Villa rethink their position if they cannot land Felix remains to be seen.
