Report: Liverpool enter the race to sign forward Tottenham are said to be keen on

Tottenham had better get a move on if they want to sign their top targets this summer, as one player they have been heavily linked with has now attracted the attention of Liverpool.

Pedro Neto could be on the move

Wolves face a struggle to hold onto one of their top stars, with Pedro Neto having been the subject of interest from Tottenham for a while now.

The latest comes from sources at GiveMeSport, with a suggestion that Liverpool have now joined the Lilywhites in the battle to sign the Portuguese winger.

It is said Liverpool want to sign both Neto and Rayan Ait-Nouri from Wolves this summer as part of Arne Slot’s new regime at Anfield.

Apparently, Liverpool have already been in touch with Neto’s representatives to discuss a deal, and it is thought Neto’s agent, Jorge Mendes, will look to secure a big move for his client.

The report adds that Neto himself appears keen and ready to take on a new challenge, preferably giving him the chance to take part in one of the top European competitions. Liverpool seem to be pretty persistent in their interest right now, and are hoping for a “speedy agreement.”

Spurs are still in the mix

While Spurs have been chasing Eberechi Eze as a top target this summer, the complicated nature of that particular situation has seem them shift their attention to Neto (Ben Jacobs).

Wolves are reportedly looking for £60m for Neto if they are to let him go.

The race for Neto is certainly heating up, and it’s interesting that Liverpool are now in there, too.

Obviously, they can offer Champions League football, but perhaps less game time than Spurs can offer, so we’ll have to see what Neto prefers when it comes to his decision this summer.
