Jayden Bogle-Medical imminent
We have agreed a £5mil deal for 23 year old Sheffield United right back Jayden Bogle.
He is due for a medical today.
Given his chance by Frank Lampard back in 2018 when he was in charge of Derby Bogle established himself as a bright young pacey attacking full back.
Making nearly 100 appearances for Derby before his 20th Birthday his form earned him a Premier League move in 2020.
A £3million move to Sheffield United followed.
Things didn't quite work out as injuries mounted up.
He has had a stop start career ever since.
Not without bright points, he was a regular 2nd half of the promotion season under Hecky in 2022/2023 (injured for the 1st half).
And earned praise for his performances last season where he managed to play the most minutes in a season he has for Sheffield United and scored 3 goals.
A pacey, skill full attacking full back.
Better going forward than defending, would suit a side playing on the front foot allowing him to get forward.
Downside and concern of course is he has had a very fragile body for quite a few years.
He's missed a lot of football for a number of seasons.
Hopefully last season was him turning a corner.
