The Hibees are back on the road this weekend as we face Kelty Hearts in the Premier Sports Cup.

The match takes place on Saturday 20 July, with a 3:00pm kick-off at New Central Park.

David Gray’s side come into this fixture with plenty of momentum following a stellar start to the 2024/25 campaign. We came out as dominant 5-1 victors over Queen’s Park at Easter Road on Tuesday evening with Warren O’Hora, Martin Boyle (2x), Dylan Levitt and Rudi Molotnikov on the scoresheet.

Academy graduate Rudi Molotnikov impressed on his first competitive start at Easter Road whilst Josh Campbell bagged a hat-trick of assists in the commanding performance.

The result means we lead the way at the top of Group C, with six points from two games.

TEAM NEWS

The Hibees added new goalkeeper Jordan Smith to our ranks, with Jojo Wollacott and Ewan Henderson both departing on a permanent basis earlier this week.

David Gray will provide a full team news update when he speaks to the press on Friday afternoon - including the latest on Elie Youan and Chris Cadden.

THE HOSTS

Kelty Hearts opened their Premier Sports Cup campaign with a 1-1 draw away at Elgin City, with the Highlanders picking up the additional point through the penalty shootout.

The hosts will be looking to build on that performance as they face a step up in competition against Hibs.

This will be our first competitive meeting with Kelty Hearts, making this an intriguing encounter as both teams aim to continue their positive starts in Group C.

HOW TO WATCH

Away tickets for the match are sold out, with over 1,300 tickets sold! There are no pay-at-the-gate tickets available on the day, so if you do not have a ticket please do not travel.
