Report: Spurs, Newcastle and Chelsea all hold talks with 26-year-old attacker

HITC report that the race for Federico Chiesa is hotting up, with the Juventus star rejecting a new contract despite having just 12 months left on his current deal.

Where will Federico Chiesa end up?

HITC claim that Juventus are now ready to sell the Italian winger this summer after he rejected their first offer of a new contract. They do not intend to make a second offer in the coming weeks.

This has prompted several Premier League clubs to be linked with the Juventus star, including Tottenham, Chelsea, Newcastle, Arsenal and Liverpool.

Atletico Madrid are also keen on the 26-year-old, but the strongest interest so far comes from Serie A sides Roma and Napoli.

Chelsea, Spurs and Newcastle hold talks

While Arsenal and Liverpool have only been ‘informed’ about Chiesa and have not followed up since then, Tottenham, Chelsea and Newcastle have all reportedly opened talks regarding the Italian.

It was previously reported by GiveMeSport that Tottenham were Chiesa’s most likely destination if he decides on a Premier League switch this summer.

The price tag is said to be around €25m (£21.6m) with add-ons for the Juventus man this summer (Fabrizio Romano).

These kinds of transfers are all about risk vs reward.

We have a potentially world-class player who has fallen out of form and favour. You could sign him and he may struggle to make any impact. Or you could get Chiesa to rediscover his 2021 levels of form, which would be a real steal. Personally, I would stay away.
