‘It’s Only Arsenal’ – Gunners Boosted As Target Not Thinking Of Any Other Club

Arsenal remain firmly on track to snap up one of Mikel Arteta’s key targets as ‘it’s only Arsenal’ in the player’s mind.

 

Arteta is pushing on with his recruitment this summer and the club have just agreed a deal with Ajax for their young goalkeeper Tommy Setford.

 

The Spaniard now wants a star of Euro 2024 in the shape of Riccardo Calafiori, a player who has been of interest to a host of top sides, including Chelsea.

 

 

In a boost for Arsenal, Italy international Calafiori is claimed to only want to join the Gunners and only has an Emirates move on his mind.

 

“I think they will do the deal because he wants Arsenal”, Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio said on Sky Sports News.

 

 

“In his mind, it’s only Arsenal.

 

“Even Chelsea tried to get him, but the player says he wants Arsenal.”

 

 

If Calafiori does move to Arsenal then the Gunners will be landing a player with “great instinct” and who is “incredible with the ball” in the view of former Germany star Christoph Kramer.

 

He also helped Bologna to secure Champions League football through their Serie A finish last season.
