Borussia Dortmund will move for Spurs star under one condition – Journalist
Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg has revealed that Borussia Dortmund are expected to push ahead with a move for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg if they fail to deal a deal for Brighton and Hove Albion’s Pascal Gross over the line.

With Denmark having been eliminated from the Euros last weekend, one would expect Hojbjerg to soon decide on his next destination, with the midfielder’s time at Spurs now seemingly up.
Dortmund are one of several clubs credited with an interest in the 28-year-old, with Sport BILD reporting last week that the club had expressed an interest in bringing the former Bayern Munich man back to Germany.
The report asserted that the Bundesliga club were particularly attracted by the Dane because he is available at a discount this summer.
Dortmund want Pascal Gross over Hojbjerg
Plettenberg has now taken to social media to state that Hojbjerg is keen to leave Spurs and that he continues to be on Dortmund’s radar.
However, the journalist made it clear that the Bundesliga club are prioritising a deal for Gross and would only make a move for the Spurs star if they are unable to land the Segulls star.
He tweeted: ‘Pierre-Emile Højbjerg is keen to leave Spurs this summer with one year left on his contract and his new agency Unique Sports Group.
‘Dortmund, still pushing to sign Pascal Groß and they want to get the deal done and sealed soon. Højbjerg, one of several options if a transfer of Groß fails
‘I asked PEH on Saturday if he will be playing in Dortmund/this stadium in the new season? He said: “It’s a great stadium. Now I’ll take a vacation first, then we’ll talk about the rest.”.’

One would presume that Hojbjerg would not be too keen on moving to Westfalenstadion if he is not Dortmund’s top target.
As things stand, a switch to Serie A appears to be the most likely outcome for the midfielder this summer.
