Josh Hinds signs on for the Spiders

0 2

Queen’s Park have secured the services of former Hull City attacker Josh Hinds for next season with the club having the option to extend the deal for season 2025/ 26 as well.

The Spiders looked to sign Josh earlier this year however his registration could not be completed due to an outstanding issue with a club in England.

The club kept tabs on the 21-year-old, who impressed throughout a two-week training stint during his earlier time at the club, and he was invited north again recently to complete his move to Queen’s.

Josh, who hails from Essex was a youth player at West Ham United before moving to Hull in 2019 where he joined their under-19 side, and he went on to make first team appearances in both the EFL Championship and FA Cup.

Further experience was gained at Gainsborough Trinity, Spalding United, Boston United, Bradford Park Avenue and Truro City with Callum Davidson saying: “When we had Josh with us back in January, he excited everyone with his ability to play wide and get past people with pace.

“We couldn’t get him then, but we got Josh back in when we started pre-season, and he excited us again. Whilst we are delighted to have signed him Josh knows that this is a big opportunity for him to showcase his talents and get established as a senior player.”

Queen’s Park’s Director of Football Darren O’Donnell added: “It is great to see Josh back with us. He is a great young talent and impressed Callum when he was here before. He possesses great attacking qualities and gives us more options in that area.”
