Our first pre-season fixture sees us make the short journey across the city to play Edinburgh City on Saturday.

The match kicks off at 1pm on Saturday 29 June at Meadowbank and supporters can purchase tickets via the Fanbase website here!

This will be David Gray’s first match as Hibs Head Coach and our first game ahead of the new campaign before the players head to their pre-season training camp in the Netherlands.

TEAM NEWS

It has been a busy first full week back at HTC, with three new faces joining the Club.

Supporters could see new goalkeeper Josef Bursik in action for the first time after he arrived on loan from Club Brugge.

New centre-backs Warren O’Hora and Marvin Expiteta could also feature on Saturday. The pair both signed three year deals earlier this week, committing their future to Hibernian FC.

THE HOSTS

As per the start of last year, the match with Edinburgh City is being played as part of a partnership between both clubs.

Edinburgh City were unfortunately relegated to the fourth-tier of Scottish football last season, but will be looking for an immediate response under the management of Michael McIndoe.

The last time the two sides met was this time last year, with the Hibees running out 4-2 winners on the day.
