Ball-playing defender Warren O’Hora became David Gray’s second signing of the summer – joining on a permanent three-year deal! Find out more about Warren’s career so far.

Born in Dublin in 1999, Warren came through the Bohemians Academy, progressing up the age grades before making his senior debut at the age of 18 back in June 2017.

After impressing on debut, O’Hora made a further 11 appearances in total (10 starts) and caught the interest of English Premier League side, Brighton & Hove Albion.

After a successful trial period with the Seagulls, O’Hora signed a deal with Brighton’s U23 squad.

The centre-half featured 34 times in total across two seasons with the Brighton Reserves, playing regularly in Premier League 2 and winning the team’s Player of the Year award during the 2019/20 season.

In August 2020, O’Hora joined MK Dons on loan – making another positive first impression and signing on a permanent basis in January 2021 after 17 appearances at the heart of defence.

During his first full season at MK Dons, O’Hora made 35 appearances (all comps) – scoring twice in League One.

The following season, the powerful defender was 'Mr. Consistent' for the Dons, starting 54 matches – including every game in League One – and helping his side reach the Play-Off Semi-Finals.

The 2022/23 campaign saw O’Hora captain MK Dons on several occasions – leading the team in 16 of the 37 games he featured in and earned himself a contract extension.

Again, during his final year with the Milton Keys side O’Hora was ever-present at centre-back – making over 50 appearances. During his time with the English side, O’Hora made 177 appearances in four years and proved a goal threat – scoring 10 times.

On the international front, the centre-back has been capped by the Republic of Ireland at both Under-18 and Under-19 level, featuring six times in total.

Warren will wear the no.5 shirt for the upcoming season and Hibs fans can expect an aggressive, organised defender who is comfortable playing out from the back.
