Report: Tottenham player is in Belgium for a medical ahead of summer transfer
Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Tottenham youngster Luka Vuskovic is on the verge of joining Belgian side KVC Westerlo on loan.
Spurs signed Luka Vuskovic last summer
Last summer, Spurs agreed a deal worth a reported £8.7m with Hajduk Split for the transfer of Vuskovic, with the agreement seeing the player arrive at the North London club in 2025 after he turns 18 years of age (Football Insider).
While the centre-back spent the first half of the season at Hajduk, he struggled for regular game time at the Croatian side and was thus loaned out to Poland in January, signing for Radomiak Radom until the end of the season.
The 17-year-old got plenty of game time for Radom and delivered impressive displays, showing just why he is so highly thought of by many in Croatia.
Vuskoic is on the verge of joining Westerlo
According to Romano, the centre-back will now get a chance to test himself in the Belgian top flight during the 2024-25 season, being on the verge of a temporary move to Westerlo.
The journalist revealed that the Tottenham man is currently having a medical at the Antwerp club before finalising his loan move.
He tweeted: ‘Tottenham future talent Luka Vusković, set to sign for Westerlo on loan from Hajduk Split.
‘Understand Vusković is now in Belgium for medical tests and contract signing. Croatian centre-back will join on season loan, here we go and exclusive story confirmed.’

17 is still extremely young for a centre-back and the fact that Vuskovic is already a wanted man across Europe speaks volumes of his maturity and talent.
The Jupile Pro League will be a big step up in quality from the Croatian and Polish top-flights and it will be interesting to see how the teenager gets on next season.
