‘Progress Made This Week’ As Newcastle Look To Finalise Capture Of Man Utd Target

0 6

Newcastle United are set to beat Manchester United to Tosin Adarabioyo, with the deal expected to be finalised in London in the coming days, according to the Daily Mail.

Adarabioyo will be a free agent at the end of June when his contract at Fulham expires and his situation has made him an attractive target.

Newcastle have put an offer on his table which has been described as ‘huge’, but Manchester United have continued to hold an interest in signing him.

Jason Wilcox is an admirer of the centre-back and a move to Old Trafford had not been ruled out.

Newcastle however are now speeding to get the deal done and are closing in after ‘progress made this week’, it is claimed.

Adarabioyo is expected to finalise the deal in London in the coming days as he agrees to move to the north east.

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe is keen for at least two centre-backs to be signed due to injuries to Sven Botman and Jamaal Lascelles.

Landing Adarabioyo will be seen as a big coup for Newcastle and they will now hope to fend off any late hijack attempts to get the capture over the line.
