Everyone Knows – Leeds United Star Confident Of No Adverse Break Effect

0 6

Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford has insisted that the squad have worked together long enough to get over any difficulties of a quick turnaround following the international break.

The Whites went into the international break as the Championship leaders and will resume with a game against Watford at Vicarage Road tonight.

Leeds boss Daniel Farke indicated this week that some of his players will not even have a single training session under their belt before taking on Watford as they would be returning late from their international commitments.

Bamford admitted that the preparation for tonight’s game has not been ideal due to the quick turnaround.

However, the Leeds star believes that the players have been working together long enough to know their individual roles in their team and as a result it should not be too difficult to get back into the groove of things.

Bamford said on LUTV: “It’s always a quick turnaround with everything.

“It has not been ideal because players have been away, but we have worked together for a large part of the season now.

“Everyone kind of knows their role and stuff, so it’s not going to be too difficult to get back to the swing of things.”

Leeds will hope to keep their form going and win all three points at Vicarage Road tonight.
