I think people who follow the wider English game would prefer it.
The top clubs would argue against it and the other 14 clubs currently in the Prem would seek to hold onto the majority of the cash but for me the solution is simple.
All 72 EFL clubs should be brought under the umbrella of the Premier League and money generated by the whole league more effectively distributed among the whole 92. Get rid of parachute payments, there'd be no need for those if there was a set payment made dependant on league position in the pyramid.
Even if you are against this there has to be a way found to make the jump from L1 to Champo and Champo to Prem less extreme - without reducing the quality of the Prem - to make the league more sustainable again
