Kilnamanagh AFC complete the FAI Club Mark

Kilnamanagh Club Mark

Founded in 1978, the club are based at Treepark Rd, Kilnamanagh, Dublin. Since then, it has been an ongoing success and thousands of youths have worn the colours of Kilnamanagh AFC.

The vision of Ned Kelly and Shay Barry laid the foundations and current committee is now charged with carrying the torch of the schoolboys, schoolgirls and senior teams which make up over 500 members. They also have a thriving academy for boys and girls aged between 4 and 7

There have been many hard working and dedicated committee men and women, managers and coaches who have volunteered, served and represented the club since its establishment.

Without the past and present input of all of these volunteers the club could not have evolved into the wonderful club that Kilnamanagh AFC is today.

Over the last number of years, the club has invested heavily in upgrading our grounds. They now have a high quality grass pitch, a newly laid and extended floodlit Astro pitch and are currently in the middle of fundraising for a new state of the art clubhouse/training facility.

On the pitch Kilnamanagh have been successful winning over 10 trophies in the last six years between the schoolboys and schoolgirls teams, especially the girls sides who have won leagues and cups since established. The Seniors first team have also gained consecutive promotions over the last three seasons which will see them compete in the top league of the LSL.

The club would like to say a personal thank you to our Director of Football/Coaching Conor Kenna who over the past three years since taking on the role has brought the club to the next level his work on getting us to achieve us receiving this FAI Club Mark is absolutely tremendous

As a club, Kilnamanagh AFC are extremely proud of all their achievements. The most notable of these being the development of a community club ethos where there are multiple teams of boys and girls of all ages. The club has the infrastructure and support network to continue to grow and flourish for the next generation of football players.

Everyone at Kilnamanagh AFC wish to thank their loyal supporters, club sponsors and the local community who have supported the club over the years and the generosity at fundraising events making the development of the club possible.
