Tottenham have ramped up their interest in a defender and will meet with his representatives as they look to hammer out a deal, while Dusan Vlahovic is on the radar of Liverpool and Man Utd, all in the papers.

SPURS TO MEET WITH ANDERSON ENTOURAGE

Tottenham are serious about signing Fulham and Denmark defender Joachim Andersen.

According to a report in Denmark from BT, Andersen’s representatives are set to meet with Spurs officials next week to hammer out a deal. Anderson 24, has impressed while on loan at Fulham and his future with Lyon looks bleak.

The Ligue 1 club has just extended the contracts of centre-backs Marcelo and Jason Denayer. It means that Anderson will be allowed to leave with previous reports suggesting in the Telegraph claiming Lyon are prepared to sell Andersen for just £25m.

Spurs know their is rival interest in the player after his solid displays for relegation-threatened Fulham.

Manchester United, Chelsea, Leicester and Crystal Palace are also interested in the player.

However, the Danish outlet claim Andersen could still remain at Fulham if the club survives in the Premier League. The Dane “has a close relationship” with boss Scott Parker, who has made the player his captain.

Andersen said recently: “It’s not so often that a loan player is the captain of a club. Of course, it’s a huge honour and something I didn’t expect.

“It’s not something I’m unfamiliar with because in the youth teams for Denmark I was always the captain.”
