Maccabi Haifa player aims sick taunt at Spurs star ahead of Europa League clash
Maccabi Haifa midfielder Mohammad Abu Fani has been filmed screaming a rather distasteful taunt towards Harry Kane after he helped his side set up a clash against Tottenham next week.
Spurs put in an accomplished display in North Macedonia on Thursday to overcome Shkendija 3-1 while Maccabi Haifa came from a goal down to win 2-1 against FC Rostov in Russia.
This means that the sides will now meet in the Europa League playoff at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next Thursday, with the winner progressing to the group stages of the competition.
The Israeli side were understandably in a celebratory mood after their win in Russia and Mohammad Abu Fani, who scored the side’s match-winner, aimed an insult at Kane.
According to The Sun, the midfielder grabbed his crotch and screamed at the camera: “Harry Kane is on my c***.”
Kane has been on the scoresheet in both of Spurs’ first two Europa League qualifiers and will surely be looking to silence Fani next week with another goal.
