The club still claims they have high expectations for Sess, but he needs starting minutes. He will get that on loan. With the signing of Sergio Reguilon from Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur now have two solid left backs that will compete for minutes, including Ben Davies. With the signing of Gareth Bale, Spurs are now absolutely stacked at the wide attacking midfield positions.
So where does that leave Ryan Sessegnon? Signed from Fulham last summer and a long-time target of Tottenham, there doesn’t seem to be a spot for Sess in the side and it’s hard to see where he’s going to get minutes this season.
