Video: Jack Clarke plays vital role in goal for Leeds United U-23’s
Jack Clarke found himself yesterday named in Leeds United’s Under-23 side for their match against Millwall.
The winger who is on loan from Tottenham Hotspur has struggled for first team opportunities in the opening couple of weeks of the new season at Leeds.
Clarke played a pivotal part in Leeds’ second goal of the game when he picked up the ball 30 yards out and drove forward whilst showing good footwork before releasing an impressive through ball to release Stevens out wide which saw Nketiah finish with ease.
Tottenham will certainly be hoping that Clarke is given more of an opportunity to feature for Marcelo Bielsa’s first team in order to further his chances of heading to North London next season with the aim of pushing for a place in Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
