Paredes says De Rossi excited to be joining Boca Juniors

PSG midfielder Leandro Paredes says Daniele de Rossi is excited to be joining Boca Juniors.

The pair have stayed in touch since their days with Roma.

I've always kept in touch with De Rossi and he is so happy to be at Boca Juniors," Paredes told TyC Sports.

He told me that he can't wait to start and would play on Sunday if he could. He's crazy about the idea of wearing the Boca jersey. I'm not kidding, when he makes his debut, I want to be in the stands watching him."

He added: "He's in love with the fans and the club. Every chance we got, we'd watch their games together. Playing here is a dream for him and he's going to be so happy.

He's a complete midfielder and can play beautiful football, but when he needs to make his presence felt, he does that too. He's the ideal profile that Boca were looking for.

If he's in good shape physically, I don't think anything about football in Argentina can trouble him."
