TSG win thriller in Freiburg

TSG Hoffenheim ended their seven-match winless run by beating SC Freiburg 4-2 (1-1) in an entertaining Baden derby on Bundesliga Matchday 19. Andrej Kramaric (two), Joelinton and Kerem Demirbay got the goals for the visitors at the Schwarzwald-Stadion.

Julian Nagelsmann made three changes to the starting XI that lost 3-1 against Bayern Munich when the Bundesliga restarted last weekend. The back four protecting shot-stopper Oliver Baumann consisted of Pavel Kaderabek, Kevin Vogt, Benjamin Hübner and Nico Schulz, while Dennis Geiger and Florian Grillitsch replaced Leonardo Bittencourt and Stefan Posch in a midfield three alongside Kerem Demirbay. Adam Szalai started in place of Ishak Belfodil and was joined up front by Andrej Kramaric and Joelinton.
Julian Nagelsmann switched to a back three after his team went 2-1 up, with Stefan Posch replacing Szalai and slotting into defence alongside Vogt and Hübner (64). The two final substitutions were like-for-like changes, with Nadiem Amiri (78) and Joshua Brenet (89) replacing Geiger and Schulz.
