[Golf] UM-Dearborn to add Golf as Varsity Sports

DEARBORN, Mich. - UM-Dearborn announced the addition of men's and women's varsity golf programs in time for the 2019-20 season. The addition of the two sports brings the total number of varsity sports to 14. The Wolverines currently offer six men's sports (baseball, basketball, bowling, cross country, lacrosse, and soccer) and six women's sports (basketball, bowling, cross country, soccer, softball, and volleyball). 

UM-Dearborn joins Aquinas, Concordia, Cornerstone, Indiana Tech, Lawrence Tech, Lourdes, Madonna, Rochester, Siena Heights, and UNOH in competing for Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) championships in both men's and women's golf.
