Kaiserslautern's Alexander Ring set for New York City FC move - reports

David Villa joins the ESPN FC desk as he prepares for his third year in Major League Soccer for NYCFC.

Alex Ring is reportedly set to move to MLS side New York City FC.

Finland international midfielder Alexander Ring is set to complete a move to New York City FC from 2. Bundesliga side Kaiserslautern, according to German outlet kicker.

Ring, 25, has spent parts of the last four seasons with the Red Devils, making 83 league and cup appearances, scoring eight goals.
