Tim Sherwood given two-game stadium ban by Football Association

Swindon's director of football Tim Sherwood has been handed a two-game stadium ban after admitting a Football Association charge of misconduct.

Sherwood is alleged to have verbally abused a match official during the half-time interval in his side's 1-0 League One defeat at Bury earlier this month.

An FA statement read: "Tim Sherwood will serve a two-match stadium ban with immediate effect after he admitted an FA misconduct charge.
