UEFA rejects increased Champions League squad sizes

The idea – pushed primarily by English Premier League sides – was to increase squad limits from 25 to 28 players. It was discussed at UEFA’s club competitions committee but won’t progress to the executive committee in Istanbul, effectively stopping it in its tracks for the time being.
