Sideways and backwards

The first goal on the weekend is the perfect example of why we probe and pass to shuffle the opposite around. Some would have groaned when both fullbacks went backwards but eventually it opened the pitch up for us.

Although it does have a lot of moving pieces for it to be successful when the right pass is chosen and the right run is made it’s beautiful.
