Matlock had led 1-0 at the break from Dec Eratt-Thompson’s deflected goal and the home side were further rocked when Ollie Russon was sent off early in the second half. They thought they had earned a drawer through Calum Ward’s 95th minute penalty only for Ben Sault to grab the winner on 96 minutes in a huge goalmouth scramble.

Credit to both sides who battled hard in terrible conditions, but it’s the Gladiators who come away with three big points.
