Eddie Hunter, 1943-2025

IT is with deep sorrow the club reports the death of Edward “Eddie” Hunter.

As a wing half or centre back, he spent his entire playing career with the Spiders and went on to lead the the team as head coach for 15 years – from 1979 until 1994. 

Eddie, who had been in poor health for some time, passed away peacefully last night. He was 82.

The thoughts of everyone at Queen’s Park FC are with Eddie’s family and friends at this sad time.
