Didn't we sell Gordon for over £40m 2 and a half years ago?
After scoring 7 goals in 65 appearances

The trick always seems to be if you're planning on selling to sell early based on potential. The second sale is rarely a huge leap unless the player is really world class Real Madrid kinda level. If he has another season like last one for instance, Gordon would probably be worth in the 50-60 range maybe? Not a huge profit for the selling club.
