I was asked by a mate who happens to be a reasonably well-balanced Villa fan (hard to believe I know), why Bob Latchford is not revered in anything like the same way as TF. After all he pointed out, Bob had a better goals to game ratio and when he was sold to Everton, it was a British record fee (£350,000). He didn't ask to leave either, it was to raise funds as the club was in financial difficulty. I think it's a fair point and difficult to answer. What do people think the reason is?
