Domestic Players in MLS

I noticed Inter Miami played lineups without any Americans recently and thought that was against the rules.

apparently MLS has dropped the requiements that there be at least 3 americans in lineups/rosters now??

BUT they have kept the rule for Canadian clubs?

Can MLS care any less about the USMNT??? (unless, of course, when it comes to using the national team to market and sell its players)
